Renewable Energy, like solar, Aeolian, geothermal, biomass and hydroelectric energy, is the solution for humanity. Not only because of its interminable disposition, also due to its economic competitiveness and the clean production of energy.

While the geothermal and hydroelectric energy have been tested regarding their profit value during the intervening years, the solar, Aeolian and the biomass energy have been converted recently in profitable methods thanks to the technological development and to the increment of prices of the electric production based on resources of petroleum and coal.

With the acceleration of the technological development and the production on a large scale, the renewable energy will cheapen itself, enlarging its competitiveness.

The Latin-American Institute of Renewable Energy contributes with its programs in order to achieve that the renewable energy increases its percentage of energy production in the Latin-American countries.
